My last interview at Bobcats media day was with
Bobcats swingman and 3-point sharpshooter Ben Gordon. Last season which was his
first with the Bobcats he averaged 11.2 points while shooting a career low 38%
from the 3-point line. Now 38% is low for most players but for a guy like
Gordon who has shot as high as 43% from beyond the arc, its bad.
This season he should see a lot more open looks as
the Bobcats find some minutes for him in the rotation as now they have more big
men depth with additions like Al Jefferson, Cody Zeller and Anthony Tolliver.
If you think about it Gordon has never really played with any big man that can
command a double team like Al Jefferson so it will be interesting to see how he
performs with a guy like that in the middle for the Bobcats.
During my sit-down with BG we spoke on the upcoming
season, charity work and even his favorite 3-point shooters of all-time, you
may be surprised at his answers.
