Juan Pierre Passes Joe Dimaggio On Hits List

On Tuesday in Philadelphia Juan Career accomplished something fantastic in his career. Pierre with a double collected his 2,215 hit passing Joe Dimaggio for 175th on the all-time hits list. Pierre is the classic example of maximizing your potential in the big leagues. He shows up early everyday and takes his craft incredibly serious.

Passing a player like Joe Dimaggio just goes to show you great of a career Pierre has had. He will never be looked at like Dimaggio but his accolades speak for itself.

  • 2003 World Series Champion
  • 3 Time Stolen Base Champion
  • 4 200 Hit Seasons
  • 613 Career Stolen Bases
  • 2,215 Hits
  • 2-Time hits leader
  • 4-Time leader In Sacrifice Hits
  • 1,074 Runs Scored
  • Top 10 MVP Finish In 2003

Pierre has quietly put together quite the Career and had he not had a few down years with the Dodgers his hit total would actually be higher but regardless of what has happened Juan Pierre's accomplishment in Philadelphia is still huge and it couldn't have happened to a better guy. Congrats to Juan Pierre on moving past Joe Dimaggio on the hits list.
