Red Sox Walk Off in Dramatic Fashion

In what has already been a great day in Boston sports, David Ortiz and the Red Sox made it even better. The Sox knocked off the Detroit Tigers after Big Papi knocked one out and added four runs to the Red Sox score in the eighth making that the third game-tying grand slam in MLB Postseason history. In the ninth, Red Sox catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia (try saying that three times fast) singled to left and scored Outfielder Jonny Gomes in walk off fashion. The series is now tied at one a piece and the two teams will play again Tuesday in Detroit, as Justin Verlander pitches against John Lackey.
